As controversial as R&B singer Chris Brown is, Wilhelmina International has shown that the dude is still touchable and perhaps profitable by signing him to its artist management division, where his agent will seek beauty and fashion endorsements.
The “Don’t Judge me” singer has seemingly been kept at arm’s length by endorsement and advertising agencies for fear he might be a difficult sell to image conscious advertisers due to the 2009 Rihanna assault situation, but the agency is still ready to take their chances. “Chris Brown is a … multifaceted artist with a unique take on style, and we are excited to translate and extent his brand,” stated the director of Wilhelmina Men, Taylor Hendrich.
