Simple, I hate politics and all its trappings. So I’ve asked myself for the umpteenth time why I have to get involved in a subject I abhor so much. I hear myself retort; “daughter you’re merely doing your job.” So it is not actually me doing this reporting oooh! Blame it on the voice.
The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe has reportedly threatened to institute legal action against a Non -Governmental Organisation, Anti Corruption Network, proudly headed by a former member of the House of Representatives Dino Melaye, for daring to tarnish his image and that of the Minister of Finance over alleged fraud of N29bn on non-existent projects awarded to companies. Well that’s not the issue.
The issue is that Melayo just released photographs of the house built by Setraco for Orubebe less than six months after the company benefited from contracts to build part of the East-West highway in Delta region. So I ask; Orubebe are you really guilty as charged?
