In my mind’s eye, I have a clear picture of him. He is kind, thoughtful and considerate. He will be my teacher, student, partner, confidant and best friend. He is quick to show his love and slow to anger. He is gentle with his words and in his actions, but the most important of all his virtues is his love for God. I’ll love and trust him with every fiber of my being and he’ll do same. He is the man I’ll say “I do” to.
Dear Husband, this is what I’ll feed you with so you won’t grow round or go round.
Breakfast
Scrambled egg whites on a slice of toast with diced apples, pear and kiwi sprinkled with cinnamon. A glass of fresh juice, tea or coffee. (I love coffee Boo)
Or Plain Yogurt with Bluberries on a waffle (some sins will be forgiven) Oats, A glass of fresh juice, tea or coffee
Lunch
Fish pepper soup, Afang with Wheat or Plantain flour. A glass of pineapple and beetroot juice
Or A Crab salad, coconut rice with Stock fish stew, fruit salad
Dinner
Peppered snails, a salad and “dessert”
Or Honey Chicken wings, Roasted Vegetables with Salmon and “dessert”
I have more where that came from. I do not know what kind of food you like, or if at all you love food like I do, but I know that we shall have a new experience every day. When I create meals, you shall be the first to try them out.
We shall keep you in shape just so you are the cynosure of all eyes. The calabash is best for water from the stream, not your shirt.
Wherever you go, just like my Dad, you would always come back home to eat.
‘Love
Nse
