Horror: 4 armed robbers burnt alive in Mushin

This is another gory story; four suspected armed robbers caught in Mushin were set ablaze by livid mob in Vono Street, Mushin, this morning, November 4.

I am not saying that armed robbery is an option still I can never ascribe to jungle justice no matter the veracity of the crime. What then is the need of the law enforcement agency if we can’t trust them to do their job? What happens to court rooms? Must we at the slightest provocation take law into our own hands? Why have we suddenly lost respect for the sanctity of human lives? What has altered our conscience? What happened to man?

I can ask endless questions. You may even snarl at my dispositions. But I ask; is there anyone sinless amongst us? Have we not done worse things?

I’m still staring at their remains and I wonder how anyone can close her eyes at night without these images flickering to her thoughts. When this happens (except your conscience is dead), ask yourself, when did we degenerate so?
