ARISE, Africa’s global style and culture magazine, has launched its ARISE 100 series. In its first publication, it announces 100 dynamic women from all over the world who have influenced us one way or the other. Notable Nigerian women who made the list includes; screen goddess; Genevieve Nnaji, writer; Chimamda Ngozi Adichie, Finance Minister; Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, fashion designers; Deola Sagoe and Folarin Coker.
ARISE magazine described the inaugural 100 lists of champions as just some of the remarkable women shaping modern Africa today. Icons such as Angelique Kidjo, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Charlize Theron tagged along other winners such as Scientist Tebello Nyokong, Social entrepreneur Wendy Luhabe and Political comedian Odile Sankara.
My mouth want to say plenty things at the same time. Unfortunately I’ve got only one mouth. In summary, I am so proud of my ilk! E didn’t easy. Abeg, hammer them three gbozas.
