The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), and founder of Warri-based Word of Life Bible Church, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, on Saturday joined the league of Nigerian preachers who own private jets as his church surprised him with the jet at the 40th year anniversary of the church which coincided with his birthday marked at the church premises in Warri, Delta State.
The 10- Seater Bombardier/Challenger 601 Aircraft marked N431CB updated version of the 1994 series reportedly cost $4.9m.
Notable among the guests are; President Goodluck Jonathan, the Delta state governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, the Speaker, Delta state House of Assembly, Engr. Victor Ochie, International preacher, Dr Mike Murdock and other dignitaries at the occasion.
The president in a short remark, urged Nigerians to continue to build bridges across tribes and states to allow for a more unified country.
The high point of the ceremony was the presentation of a private jet as birthday gift by members of the church.
