No fewer than three persons lost their lives when a Toyota Camry Station wagon collided at Umumba Junction on the Enugu-Onitsha expressway.
According to the statement of the spokesman of the Enugu State Police Command, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, both drivers died on the spot while the third casualty gave up in a hospital at 9th Mile Corner, near Enugu. Seven other persons sustained varied injuries.
Amaraizu gave the cars details as; Toyota Camry with registration number AL 578 AGU and a 504 Station Wagon with registration number AL 772 GGE.
The bodies of the unidentified casualties had been deposited in a mortuary. (Credit: NAN)
