20-year-old Philippine wins Miss. Transgender 2012

Twenty-year-old Kevin Balot from the Philippines, Friday November 2, emerged the Miss International Queen 2012, the worldwide pageant of transgenders and transvestitites held in Pattaya, Thailand.

Kevin was also voted Miss. Photogenic, while Jessika Simoes of Brazil was the 1st runner-up and Thailand’s Panvilas, 2ndrunner-up.

The event which started in 2004 is aimed at empowering transgender, promote GLBT rights, and provide avenue for showcasing their talents.
